Once this was real washhouse called The Soap Opera, now it's a bar run by the folk from Chorlton Brasserie down the road. Simple, Italian-influenced food is served with contrasting Anglo desserts such a knickerbocker glory. The cocktail list features lingerie models in a laundry, while the beer choice offers some good UK craft ales.
