The White Lion is a newly refurbished pub on the edge of Disley village. In a cosy, white-washed setting, you can enjoy eight cask ales, with a number of wines available by the glass plus traditional home-cooked food. Fish and chips and leek potato and mushroom bake are the kind of things to try in this rustic idyll. Dinner is also served to dogs who have their own special room. Best sellers include all manner of bitters and cask ales from eight handpumps. Otter, Copper Dragon and Sharps are favourite brewers. The White Lion won CAMRA and CASK awards in 2011.
