This self-styled Asian grill is very much a Curry Mile style leader – copper, gold and marble decor, with prices to match – and after 12 months it is starting to challenge Mughli for the ‘new wave’ crown. Take their Peshwari Lamb chops, marinated for thirty six hours in a blend of figs and spices enriched with sour cream... or imaginatively-spiced dishes featuring fish sourced daily. Despite its modern approach there is no compromise on heat; a ‘Dinabite’ (sic), an appetiser of fresh jalapenos stuffed with cumin cheese then deep-fried in gram flour batter, is fierce. Good mocktail list as you’d expect.
