Exciting news for all you sweet treat lovers out there, as artisan London bakery and baking school Bread Ahead are set to open their doors up North for the very first time! Partnering with luxury retailer Harvey Nichols, Bread Ahead will launch their oh-so-delish doughnut pop-up early doors next month (Monday 3rd November).
Matthew Jones, Founder of Bread Ahead, said: “We’ve long wanted to branch out regionally, and this felt like the perfect way to do it. Baking and education are so important to us, so we’re really excited to bring our doughnuts to the people of Manchester and thrilled to be working with Harvey Nichols. We hope this is just the first of many visits to Manchester – there’s so much more to come!”
Bread Ahead’s Manchester pop-up will showcase their full range of indulgent and generously filled favourites. Expect their beloved classics: Vanilla, Jam, Chocolate, Sea Salted Caramel, and Pistachio. Then there’s the world-famous Crème Brûlée doughnut, a London legend with around 5,000 sold daily. Regional and seasonal specials include Pumpkin Crème Brûlée and S’mores, alongside Lemon Curd, Coconut, and Blackcurrant Cheesecake.
As we say, to celebrate the launch, Bread Ahead will be rolling out a proper sweet welcome as they gear up to give away a total of 1,000 FREE doughnuts across their first two launch days.
Yep, on Monday 3rd November, Bread Ahead will be serving up the first 500 FREE doughnuts from 10am at their brand-new pop-up inside Harvey Nichols (one per person, while stocks last). Then, for anyone who didn’t manage to bag one on day one, there’s another 500 FREE doughnuts ready to roll out from 10am on Tuesday 4th November – same place, same joy, still absolutely free.
Gavin Hudson, General Manager at Harvey Nichols Manchester, added: "Bread Ahead is a true institution in Borough Market, so when Matthew and the team got in touch, we knew that their offer would definitely resonate with our customers. We’re excited to be bringing their full selection of doughnut flavours to the city and we are sure that their trademark Crème Brûlée doughnut will become a firm favourite here too."
The Bread Ahead pop-up will run for three months, located on the Ground Floor of Harvey Nichols Manchester.
