A sausage dog café is coming to Manchester this Christmas

26 October 2023

The only thing that could ease the pain of not getting a dog for Christmas is a trip to a dedicated sausage dog café, right? To celebrate the season, the Dachshund Pup Up Café is back in Manchester for one day only, this time with a festive theme for you and your four-legged friends.

After taking the city by storm last year, the popular concept returns once again with over 250 dachshunds expected to visit the café across the festive season. It will be opening its doors inside Lola Lo for sausage dogs, their owners and those infatuated with the tiny legged creatures to bask in the Christmas spirit. There’ll also be a photographer on hand to snap your new festive fireplace centrepiece.

Dogs will get unlimited dog treats and free puppucinos as they mingle with 50 of their fellow breeds per session. Festive fancy dress is top of the list the year and there’ll even be special prizes for the best dressed canine across the event.

It arrives in Manchester on Sunday 26 November, with tickets costing £10 for sausage dog owners and £15 for dachshund fans who fancy a cuddle without the responsibility.

The pop-up runs from 10am – 1.30pm and sessions are available to book throughout the day. You can book your ticket here.
