A feast of foraged food will be on the menu at Electrik as local chef Beth Creedon takes over the hotplate for one night only. The Chorlton restaurant will present the âWild Foodâ evening on Monday (May 24) as part of its âguestrantâ series and Chorlton Arts Festival. Beth, of Dig and Cracking Good Food fame, will create an inspiring menu of dishes using ingredients that she has either foraged, handpicked or hunted or that have been homegrown.
Past dishes from her exciting, unique and imaginative menus include, Nettle & Jack Oâthe Hedges Ice Cream, Hawthorn & Sangiunello Chili Salad, Razor Clam Chowder and Rabbit with Wild Mushrooms. Electrickâs âguestrantâ concept sees talented local chefs cook a meal for one night only. Tickets are £25 and places are strictly limited, so book ahead in the bar or email [email protected].
Chorlton Arts Festival is also hosting a Street Feast on Sunday, May 30, when local purveyors of fine foods will gather to showcase and sell their products.
