THE striking new MediaCityUK Alchemist Bar & Restaurant has opened in The Bund, a prime waterside location between The Lowry Theatre and MediaCityUK and it certainly makes an architectural statement.
This futuristic £1.2m development featuring a dazzling gold clad roof and walls an angular blackened steel and bronze bar looks set to be a Quays landmark.
The bar wraps around from the interior to an enclosed outdoor terrace, offering sweeping views of the water and the surrounding area rich in industrial heritage.
The venue is open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a cocktail selection that includes classics such as the Smokey Old Fashioned and new additions such as the Battenberg, typically utilising molecular drinks-making techniques. Check out the menus here.
