Things are changing in Moss Side this Spring as the area welcomes a new, traditional outdoor market on the first Saturday of the month. The inaugural event takes place on Saturday 5th April from 11am 4pm on the car park at the corner of Great Western Street and Barnhill Street.
Regarding traders, you'll be able to buy cider from the Moss Cider Project, which takes windfall apples and makes them into delicious alcoholic apple juice. Watch this space for more updates as we have them.
If you are interested in taking a stall at the market - they appear to be free right now, but don't quote us on that - have a look here for more information about how to download trader application forms.
Stalls promised include small, artisan and independent traders specialising in food, drink, crafts and more. The market is being run by a partnership between Manchester City Council, City South Manchester and Mosscare Housing Group and it will run for a trial six month period.
