Cooking to impress
First Mary- Ellen must impress Phil Howard from 2* Michelin The Square in London and then face the Great British Menu judges, Oliver Peyton, Prue Leith and Matthew Fort in the regional final.
Mary-Ellen said; The Great British Menu has become something of an institution over the last few years and we were delighted to be asked to take part in the latest series. Comic Relief is such a fantastic charity and creating a menu which accurately reflects their brand was no mean feat. Hopefully the series will help to raise a lot of money for a very worthy cause.
Aumbry will also be holding a Comic Relief evening where guests can enjoy Mary-Ellens final menu featured on the programme.
Mary-Ellens Menu for the competition is
Starter: Baked Bean Bath Tub
Fish: Northern Sole
