HOPING to beat their Bank Holiday Weekend record, the Makers Market returns to The Lowry Outlet, Salford Quays from Saturday, May 27 to Monday, May 29, offering over 120 traders with food to the forefront.
Visitor number to overtake? The 65,000 who made it there over three days at the May Day start of the month. So what foodwise is going to lure you back this time?
Lots if baked goods naturally – from the likes of MCR Doughnut Co, The Muffin Mistress, Weenie Bakes and newcomers Bake My Day MCR and Wye Bakehouse.
Regular savoury providers include Cumbrian Pig with their Open Top Growlers, Daddy Cool’s hot sauces, Weston Biltong, plus intriguing sounding African snacks Ginger and Banana Puff Puff from Saco Trading.
The street food arena offers pizzas from Wood Fire and Smoke, bratwurst from In The Dog House, burgers from What’s Your Beef, wraps from Oh My Glaze and paella from Spanish Tapas. For pudding try Crepe Chateau’s Nutella version or get your licks at Ice Cream Creations.
