TASTE of Manchester is astonished at the city’s unquenchable thirst for drinks tasting events, the latest being the Town Hall takeover by The Bourbon Brothers.
Billed as the UK’s biggest bourbon event, it offers the chance to sip 100 of the finest American whiskeys under one ornate roof with giveaways and the chance to ogle a selection of Harley Davidsons (it kinda goes with the vibe).
On arrival you will be handed your event pack including a Bourbon Brothers glass (yours to keep), event brochure, free draw entry form and a few other goodies to get you started along with the first drink free and any pre purchased drinks cards.
After that you purchase drinks tokens at £5 a shot, which includes a mixer and fresh garnish, take in some live entertainment and talks by industry experts and, if you wish, buy a bottle or two from a copious selection. The event also offers alternative refreshment – other spirits, wines and beers.
