BOWLING bar and restaurant, Dog Bowl have launched an American inspired breakfast set to rival the Full English. Just don’t count the calories and cholesterol!
Created to satisfy demand from early-rising bowling fans, the new menu will be available from 10am-12pm every weekend, making Dog Bowl the only venue in Manchester where you can bowl while enjoying your breakfast.
Taking inspiration from across the Pond, the new breakfast menu boasts a variety of sweet and savoury delights, ranging from French Toast served with whipped cream and strawberries to Chicken & Bacon Waffles served with maple syrup.
A highlight of the menu is the Full American breakfast (above). Featuring twists on an English fry-up, this hearty feast includes smoked bacon, fried eggs, sausage, BBQ beans, tater tots (grated potato dumplings), grilled tomato and waffles served with maple syrup.
For those that aren’t sure about mixing savoury and sweet first thing in the morning, classics such as Salmon Benedict, the Breakfast Bun and Ham and Eggs are available. For breakfast fans with a sweeter tooth, try the Cinnamon Bun’ or the ‘American Pancakes, which are stacked high with strawberries and blueberries and served with lashings of cream and maple syrup.
