Brand new bar, BrewDog Manchester, is now open on Peter Street. Boasting an impressive glass frontage, external seating area, a semi-mezzanine area and exposed beams, the bar follows BrewDogâs devotion to a utilitarian look to a tee.
While getting to know the own-brand beers, guests can play vintage board games and sample âRock ân Roll Pizzasâ and âKick Ass Burgersâ designed by Masterchef winner Tim Anderson. The team at Taste of Manchester tried them today. They are excellent and you can expect a full, glowing report to follow.
BrewDog Manchester is the Scottish chainâs seventh craft beer bar to open in the past 18 months. According to an official statement, âManchester has always been a priority location for a BrewDog bar; itâs a great city which is already embracing the craft beer revolution.â
The team behind BrewDog have done their research: Manchester already has the celebrated Port Street Beer House, passionate about real ale and craft beer and a number of other bars, such as Electrik in Chorlton, the Marble chain and Trof in the Northern Quarter all known for intriguing ales.
The different thing about this new bar, though, is its location. Rather than hiding up in the Northern Quarter with the rest, BrewDog is located opposite the AMC cinema and the Manchester235 casino, bang in the heart of business-ville. The result is a bar for everyone, full of accessible beers that we are looking forward to getting to know better.
