Bring your own records to play at the NQ's award-winning Bay Horse

18 April 2018 by Neil Sowerby

NOT only voted Best Pub in Greater Manchester but also a muso-friendly zone – that’s the Northern Quarter’s Bay Horse Tavern

Saturday, April 21 is Record Store Day 2018 and the quirkily revamped Thomas Street hostelry is playing its part from 12pm until 1am with their ‘Bring Your Own Records’ day.

Guests will be able to bring in their own vinyl to be played alongside those of the DJs, playing across two floors. Entrance is free.

And unlike record stores there’s an abundance of acclaimed food and drink to accompany.

ToM is busy dusting off its definitive Ed Sheeran collection to tuck into along with the Bay Horse’s bottomless brunches. For £27.50 you get a breakfast dish with a choice of free-flowing prosecco, bloody marys, Irish coffee, mimosas, house wine, selected beers or hot or soft drinks.

Be careful handling that precious vinyl!

The Bay Horse Tavern, 35-37 Thomas Street, Manchester M4 1NA. 0161 661 1041. Open daily from 11am to 1am Sunday to Wednesday and 2am Thursday to Saturday.
