Brussel sprout bhajis bringing festive greenery to Bundobust

HOW to make Brussels interesting – and we’re not taking Brexit. Pop down to Bundobust for 'Return of the Sprout Bhaji', the blockbuster sequel that just keeps giving.

A small plate of the gram flour frittered little green cannonballs, served with a tangy cranberry sauce will set you back just £4.50. Pair it with another welcome returnee, Bundo’s own custom-made Dhania Coriander Seed IPA (7.2% alcohol, so just two thirds for £4.30).

The other Christmas specials. leaning heavily on festive cinnamon, live up to the standards that helped win the basement beer and Indian veggie destination win Restaurant of the Year at the Manchester Food and Drink Awards in 2017. 

There’s a cinnamon and star anise infused ‘Festive Curry’ featuring parsnips, French beans and swede in a  tomato sauce (£7.50 with rice), and a cinnamon and Belgian biscuit ice-cream, topped with cardamom and pistachio (£4), created by Leeds churnsters Northern Bloc.
