Celebrate a future culinary star

12 August 2009

Young chef Adam Leavy will take over the kitchen at the Round Restaurant at the Royal Exchange for one night only as part of Visit Manchester’s Young Star Chef Initiative.

Adam has been challenged to devise his own signature menu and lead the kitchen during service on Thursday, August 20.

The evening promises to be a great success with Adam’s menu including a leek, crab and prawn terrine, duck breast with a passion fruit and grain mustard sauce followed by a delicious chocolate dessert.

Originally from Blakely, Manchester, 23-year-old Adam’s passion for food has fuelled his ambition to succeed in the kitchen after starting out at the Royal Exchange as a waiter in 2006.

Young Star Chef evenings are intended to showcase the talents and achievements of upcoming chefs working in Greater Manchester. They are not only an opportunity to support local young chefs in the industry, but a chance to sample unique menus at exceptional prices.

To reserve a table at this event, call 0161 615 6666. The evening begins with arrival drinks at 7pm, and the meal at 7pm. The price is £25 per person.
