Celebrity Chefs Launch Pop Up Restaurant

30 November 2011

Following the runaway success of the London launch of The Kitchen, this unique dining experience, now known as M Kitchen, is coming to Manchester.

Dining is free, but only the first 270 members of the public will have the chance to eat!

The M Kitchen is a gourmet collaboration between Morrisons and five of the nations most respected chefs, Pierre Koffmann, Atul Kochhar, Aldo Zilli, Bryn Williams and Nigel Haworth.

However, youd better be quick as this temporary but extraordinary bistro, serving exclusive recipes created by the five chefs, will only be open for just three days.

The recipes were developed exclusively for the new Morrisons meals solution range, M Kitchen. The exciting dishes include

Lancashire Hotpot created by Nigel Haworth, head chef of the Michelin-starred Northcote Manor in Lancashire

Pizza Calabrese created by Aldo Zilli, Italian chef, restaurateur and chef patron of the Zilli Fish Group

Chicken Korma created by Atul Kochhar, head chef at Benares in Mayfair, London

Beef Bourguignon created by Pierre Koffmann, head chef of Koffman’s at The Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge

M Kitchen opens today, Wednesday 30th November and runs till Friday 2nd December. Lunch service is 12noon till 3pm and dinner 6pm till 8:30pm.

Morrisons took over part of the 100-year-old Custard Factory building in Digbeth, just outside the city centre, for the Birmingham leg of the M Kitchen restaurant openings. Almost three hundred people filed through the doors over the course of three days.

Almost 400 diners enjoyed the M Kitchen in Leeds and now lucky for us its Manchesters turn.

If you dont get a chance to dine then you can grab the chefs recipes in store at Morrisons.
