Australasia, Manchester’s legendary restaurant and bar, has now launched a £15 lunch menu on to celebrate 15 years of bringing the flavours of the Pacific Rim to Manchester.
The offering will be available to enjoy from 12 pm to 5 pm Monday to Friday, and includes a customisable dish depending on each customer’s preference, as well as a soft drink. Guests can also upgrade to the £18 offering, which includes a glass of Prosecco, beer, or wine.
Guests can first choose a base from three options:
Udon - scorched, hand-pulled noodles, dry-fried with aromatic chilli bean & black pepper, with mixed sprouts and crisp Asian vegetables.
Rice - wok-hei jasmine rice, stir-fried with eggs, crispy vegetables, spring onions and a dash of light soy & five spice.
Raw - green hispi slaw, heritage carrot, smashed cucumber, green goddess dressing, toasted sesame, aromatics & crispy shallot.
Next, there will be a choice of three ‘proteins’, including crispy tofu, grilled tiger prawns or charred lemongrass chicken.
Diners also have the opportunity to add one of Australasia’s decadent sides to their dish for an additional cost, such as charred tenderstem and asparagus, miso grilled aubergine with Amaranth popcorn, Kombu salt fries with truffle mayo or green papaya salad with crushed roasted peanuts.
