While the city centre is absolutely heaving when it comes to places to eat, it's important to remember that the suburbs have a proper good selection of eateries for you to choose from and Momo Shop is definitely one which makes the trip down to Chorlton worth it.
This Barlow Moor Road hotspot, formerly The Little Yeti, is legendary for all things momos with a cracking menu full of Nepalese street food delights.
Momo-wise, you can choose from five fillings; vegetable, buffalo, chicken, pork and king prawn.
You can then choose how you want those bad boys cooked; steamed, pan-fried, deep-fried or sandeko-style.
There's a bunch of sauces you can try out with the momos including the traditional jhol achar as well as garlic and chilli.
While the small family business, which is independently run by women, specialises in their hand-folden dumplings there's also a bunch of other plates you need to try out.
There are currently three small plate offerings including onion bhajis, masala chips and cheesy chops which are a brilliant creation of potato patties seasoned with Nepali herbs and spices, stuffed with vegan cheese and served with homemade yoghurt.
Chow-mein and keema noodles are also on offer if you fancy something heartier along with a whole 'sizzle list' featuring chicken wings and lamb ribs alongside mushroom and paneer shashlicks.
There's also a bunch of zesty salads, wraps and traditional naan and roti breads - all to be perfectly washed down with some Lucky Buddha beer - on tap!
