ESPRESSO Martini has crept up on ToM as a current tipple of choice. Now it’s time to put it to the test and where better than at the new pop-up cafe-bar opening in Artisan, Spinningfields on Tuesday, October 2.
Café Belvedere will be there until Sunday, October 14, operating as a coffee shop by day and a cocktail bar by night, with a menu of coffee-cocktails, including that caffeine-fuelled Martini, curated by acclaimed bartender brothers Joe and Daniel Schofield, originally from Manchester. The pair will open their first bar, Schofield’s, in the city in early in 2019.
International Bartender of the Year Joe’s CV includes The Savoy’s American Bar and Singapore’s Tippling Club, while Daniel plies his mixology at Bethnal Green’s French-inspired bar Coupette, named ‘Best New International Cocktail Bar at the Spirited Awards. The Schofields are collaborating with Belvedere vodka brand to create the Café’s cocktail list with the emphasis on promoting the subtle sweetness and clean finish of Belvedere, made from Polish Dankowskie Rye. Premium cold-pressed coffee liqueur Mr Black will also be used throughout the menu.
Café Belvedere, Artisan, Avenue North, 18-22 Bridge Street, Manchester M3 3BZ. Open Oct 20-14, 11am-11pm.
