THERE’S still time to snap up tickets for the Pub in the Park (Fri-Sat, Sept 7-9), brought to Tatton by celeb chef Tom Kerridge.
The original event was launched May 2017 in Marlow, Bucks, home to Tom’s two Michelin-starred gastropub, the Hand and Flowers, plus his other establishment, The Coach. The successful formula will be continued up here – a line-up of leading chefs, pubs, and restaurants serving their most popular dishes. Star names include Josh Eggleton, Angela Hartnett, Andrew Pern, Candice Brown and James Mackenzie and there’s a large array of stalls, bars and demos.
Plus an experienced, middle of the road music offering including Razorlight, Toploader, Mel C, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Squeeze.
There are five sessions at the festival site at The Lambing Shed, the Heath, Knutsford; one on Friday 7, two on Saturday 8 and two on Sunday 9. Tickets cost from £26.75 for afternoon sessions and £42.80 for evening sessions, with child concessions. Plus more expensive VIP tickets. Buy tickets here.
Earlier in the year Tom talked about Pub in the Park, the British pub industry and his personal battle to scaled down from 40 stone in a brilliant Fodder podcast from our own Matty White.
