ONE of TOM’s favourite moments of the past 12 months was when the Crazy Pedro posse at the Manchester Food and Drink Awards Gala Dinner ordered a delivery of their own takeaway pizzas. This last gasp dough injection didn’t clinch them victory in the Cheap Eats category, but it did enhance their wacky profile.
As does the latest addition to their crazy topping roster – their new ‘Ducky Fuzz’ special. It’s a worthy successor to ‘Dirty Northerner’, a chips, cheese and gravy pizza or their recent Easter special, ‘I Am The Resurreggtion’, topped with chocolate sauce, marshmallows, brownie pieces and a melting creme egg.
Topped with duck, hoisin sauce and vegetable spring roll pieces, the limited edition Ducky Fuzz pizza is on sale throughout April and is priced at £3 a slice or £15 for a whole pizza. Or pop in to the Bridge Street pizzeria during happy hour (5pm to 9pm, Sunday to Friday) and you can tuck in for £2 a slice or £10 for a pizza, all washed down with two-for-one cocktails.
Crazy Pedro's Part Time Pizza Parlour, 55–57 Bridge St, Manchester M3 3BQ. 0161 359 3000. Open daily 12pm-4am.
