DAIQUIRI WEEK: Top 3 best Daiquiris in Manchester

17 July 2024 by Rhiannon Ingle

In case you didn't know, we're slap-bang in the middle of Daiquiri week which kicked off Monday 15th July and is set to go on until Sunday 21st July.

So, in order to celebrate the occasion in style, I've rounded up three of my favourite Daiquiris in Manchester.

Frozen Daiquiri at Diecast

It was love at first sip with this little beauty.

When I got to Diecast, the sprawling converted Machine Works factory, I was totally overwhelmed by the House of Daiquiri menu featuring a whole lot of Bacardi rum.

There were seven flavours to choose from; Piña Colada, Pink Lemonade, Kiwi Colada, Mango & Peach, Blueberry & Hibiscus, Strawberry and Pineapple & Passionfruit.

Pick your favourite or mix and match - the choice is yours.

Spiced Mango Daiquiri, Strange Brew

This bev is definitely worth trekking out to the suburbs for as Chorlton's Strange Brew has expertly perfected the balance between sweet and spicy with their Spiced Mango Daiquiri.

Made with Manchester-based No Name Distillery rum - this drink is sure to make you feel like you're knocking one back in a tropical oasis far away from the dreary summer rain we seem to be plagued with at the moment.

Cotton Candy Daquiri

And last but by no means least is the mouth-watering Cotton Candy Daquiri from what's commonly dubbed at the 'best hidden bar in Northern Quarter, Dusk til Pawn.

This little gem of a drink, which is actually Dusk til Pawn's 'Cocktail of the Month', is beautifully made with Nusa Caña white rum, Campari, maraschino, lime juice and - of course - cotton candy.
