David Gale's Best of British at The Lawn Club

Fluid Bars has appointed former Hilton Deansgate chef David Gale (pictured centre) to head up its kitchen at new venture The Lawn Club, in Spinningfields. Most recently Executive Chef at The Hilton Hotel, Manchester-born David has put together a selection of British-inspired small plates and sharing platters with a focus on uncomplicated, seasonal, locally-sourced food.

The Lawn Club replaces Hibernate on The Lawns in Hardman Square, focussing on a quintessentially British theme, mixing traditional and modern elements through contemporary design. It is bigger in size than Hibernate or its predecessor In Bloom, featuring a retractable roof, day beds, open fires and more seating.

James Wrigley (pictured right), Director of Fluid Bars said: “We’re delighted to have David Gale on board as Head Chef at The Lawn Club. David has worked internationally with world renowned names – his expertise and flair for creating and engaging British menus is a perfect synergy for The Lawn Club.  We’ve worked closely together to create a menu that we think will complement the current season and provides something different to all other eateries on the estate.”
