27 August 2025 by Rhiannon Ingle

Stock Exchange Hotel is inviting guests to cool off this summer in the relaxing surroundings of its acclaimed tender restaurant, with its brand new collection of seasonal cocktails, summer afternoon tea, and special small plates offering.

Situated in the stunning Grade II listed building that once housed Manchester’s stock exchange, tender is the perfect oasis in the heart of the city centre, providing guests with a dining experience like no other.

The summer afternoon tea at tender features a selection of brand new seasonal desserts, created using all the exceptional ingredients and culinary expertise that the restaurant is known for and all designed to celebrate the summer season. New additions to the menu include an indulgent pistachio and raspberry macaron, mango and passionfruit mousse cake and a delicious summer berry pavlova. Guests are invited to enjoy the new desserts alongside a range of savoury bites, scones and artisan sandwiches - the perfect treat away from the afternoon heat.

Guests can also enjoy tender’s new summer cocktail menu in the Drawing Room, created in house by expert mixologist and served daily. Complete with refreshing, seasonal flavours, the cocktails can be enjoyed on their own or as part of the cocktail afternoon tea, for £45 per person.

New cocktails include…

  • The Meadow - complete with Barsol Pisco, blackberry, lemon and lavender

  • The Gimlet - made with Ron Santiago de Cuba Blanco, lime juice and caster sugar

  • The Americano - Stock made with campari, sweet vermouth and soda

For those looking for a light dinner, post-shopping treat or a pre-theatre dining, tender is also launching a summer small plates offering. For just £30, guests can enjoy three of the beautiful, expertly prepared small plates from its dinner menu, alongside a glass of wine. With dishes including Manchester Smoked Salmon, Bury Black Pudding Scotch Egg with homemade brown sauce and Beef Tartare,  Padron peppers with lemon aioli and Galician style Octopus, there’s plenty to choose from, making it the ideal summer grazing experience for couples, friends and family. Perfect alongside a glass of cold wine.
