Deliveroo launched in Manchester just a few
months ago and have enjoyed so much
success that they've decided to launch a South Manchester service
in Didsbury and Chorlton.
Deliveroo is a brand new online service for Manchester and works with the city’s best restaurants to deliver their food to the customers’ living room or office.
Over 50 restaurants are already signed up to the scheme in central Manchester, including popular BBQ restaurant, Solita, who have now also signed up to the South Manchester Deliveroo network.
Franco Sotgiu, owner of Solita, commented: “Deliveroo is working brilliantly for us in the Northern Quarter. It’s simple and it works – we’ve had great feedback from customers, and we’re loving being part of something so innovative in the city. When we were told about the Didsbury service launching, we signed up straight away – and have already sent lots of great food to happy customers on this side of town too!”
The list of South Manchester restaurants signing up to Deliveroo is growing all the time, and currently include TOM favourites such as Art of Tea and De Nada.
Dan Fruhman, Manchester’s Regional Manager, said: “We’re delighted to have launched in Didsbury and Chorlton, not only because it’s a symbol of the phenomenal success we’ve enjoyed in Manchester so far, but also because they’re such fantastic foodie neighbourhoods. We’re already working with some wonderful chefs and restaurateurs in the areas, and are looking forward to making more south Manchester sign up announcements over the next few weeks.”
The Deliveroo service is available to anyone living within a 2.5km distance of the centres of Chorlton or Didsbury – customers simply need to put their postcode into www.deliveroo.co.uk to find out if they are in the zone.
