Manchester’s latest restaurant and bar to feature in the coveted Michelin Guide, MAYA, has just totally reinvigorated its ground floor space with the launch of a 'Cocktail Bistro' concept which will sprawl out onto the cobbled terrace - which is the perfect spot to catch rays on a sunny day - just in time for summer.
Anyone out there partial to a boogie will also be buzzing to know that the stunning three-floor venue has also announced plans for Disco Club Sessions in the basement 'Pump Room'.
The vision for the Cocktail Bistro is to serve a gorgeous blend of modern cocktails and bistro classics; taking the same level of quality and product detail of their critically acclaimed Dining Room to a more casual all day, all night model.
The MAYA chefs will serve classic Bistro plates such as Steak Frites, MAYA Burgers and Caesars alongside seasonal small plates and appetisers all day long.
From the bar, the MAYA mixologists have created an adventurous and elevated list of cocktails, from purified Espresso Martinis, fresh twists on classic cocktails from Daiquiri to Spritz.
Budget-friendly too, MAYA’s Cocktail Club sees a summer happy hour introduced where 7 cocktails are just £7 with the offer available all night Wednesday and Thursday and 12-7pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The team will also create Frozen Spritz specials, available through the Canal facing ‘Spritz Hatch’ counter, serving to the Canal Street terrace every day.
Head Chef, Gabe Lea said on the launch: "We’re so proud to have made the Michelin Guide in record time and are ecstatic about the response we’ve had so far in The Dining Room. Our new Cocktail Bistro takes our same ideology of elevated seasonal flair but makes it more accessible for everyone, every day. We can’t wait to welcome guests from 10th July.”
From Friday 12th July, MAYA’s Club Sessions will run from 10pm - 4am in their very own 'Basement Disco' aka The Pump Room, with intimate DJ sets from all over the party spectrum.
