A new app which offers discounts at some of the UK's most popular restaurants has officially launched in Manchester.
EatClub, which was co-founded by Marco Pierre White, helps venues to fill their quieter hours by offering app users discounts of up to 50%.
EatClub has already teamed up with an impressive list of much-loved Manchester haunts, including Noodle Alley, Salvi's, Sapporo Teppanyaki, Ciaooo, KAJI, Lina Stores and loads more.
The app can also be used to enjoy cut-price drinks, with cocktail favourites like Arcane, Wood & Company, Dusk Til Pawn and The Fitzgerald all offering discounts at various times throughout the week.
The entire discount process is handled discreetly within the app. Participating restaurants and bars can load real-time offers during off-peak hours, which are selected by users before they arrive. When it comes to paying the bill, the EatClub app will generate a virtual card which can be added to a phone's wallet — use this to pay, and the chosen discount will be applied automatically.
"Manchester has such incredible energy when it comes to hospitality and we’re so excited to be working with a fantastic range of venues from day one." Says Pan Koutlakis, CEO and co-founder of EatClub.
“EatClub is all about making it easier for people to dine out more often, discover new favourites and enjoy great value, all in a way that feels effortless.”
Originally founded in Australia, EatClub was successfully rolled out in London last year. Since then, the team says EatClub users have increased their dining frequency by 70%, while restaurants have seen up to a 10x uplift in targeted off-peak windows, roughly equating to a 12% jump in annual revenue.
The EatClub app is free to download on the App Store and Google Play. Click here to download.
