End of the month: Dulcimer Ale Festival

12 November 2013

Dulcimer bar in Chorlton is hosting a new Ale Festival, giving drinkers another reason to head out to the Manchester suburbs and get stuck into the world of lager and craft beer that awaits. With recent openings like the beer-focused Font bar and the soon-to-be-one-year-old Beagle, Chorlton is turning into something of a haven for the ale fan. Running over the last weekend in November, Dulcimer drinkers can explore the best seasonal ales on offer from the region's finest breweries including Fyne, Moor, Arbor, Magic Rock, Weird Beard, Partizan, Red Willow (of course), Pure North, 5 Points and big favourites like Thornbridge. The bar will serve Dulcimer's new collaboration beer (brewed with First Chop) called DAB - Dulcimer American Brown and the sessions will run as follows: Fri 4pm-1.30am, Sat noon-1.30am, Sun noon-11.30pm.

Fri 29 Nov - Mon 1 Dec, Dulcimer bar, 567 Wilbraham Road, Chorlton, M21 0AE. Tel: 0161 860 6444, www.dulcimer-bar.co.uk
