If you thought Diecast had already claimed its spot as one of Manchester’s hottest hangouts, think again. This sprawling post-industrial playground has just turned up the heat with the launch of its brand-new Smokehouse menu – and it’s a meaty, smoky, flavour-packed affair designed for sharing, grazing and late-night feasting.
The headline act is the Full BBQ Platter – a carnivorous journey through global barbecue flavours that’ll make you want to roll up your sleeves and dive right in. Expect barbecue pork skewers with tangy, sticky glaze topped with crispy shallots and spring onions, chicken yakitori kissed with sesame, and a boldly spiced chermoula beef kebab, finished with pepper and a fresh pico de gallo.
And the fiery menu doesn’t stop there. Chistorra sausage and padrón pepper skewers bring a smoky-salty hit with a zesty kick of Tajín and silky ponzu mayo, while vegetarians aren’t left out thanks to charred padrón peppers and a punchy cous cous salad loaded with salsa verde, feta, cucumber, tomato, and pickled onions.
It wouldn’t be a proper smokehouse without sauces – and Diecast delivers. Choose from dill jalapeño ranch, garlic oregano, ponzu mayo, and a creamy sour cream ranch. Or, if you’re like us, get them all and dunk with wild abandon.
In short, Diecast’s new Smokehouse menu, built for sharing and soaking up the atmosphere with a craft beer or signature cocktail in hand, is perfect for group nights out or a pre-gig feast so be sure to book on and try it out for yourself.
The Smokehouse menu will be available every Saturday from 3-8pm. It'll be outdoors, rain or shine (and heated, of course). Walk in only.
