IF you’d made the final three of MasterChef: The Professionals 2019 you’d be dining out on it for the conceivable future. Or rather stepping back into the kitchen on a mini-tour.
Big hit on the BBC cook-off show Exose Lopo-Ndinga hasn’t given up the day job as a chef de partie at James Martin Manchester, so Monday, January 20 must be his day off.
He joins the eventual winner Stu Deeley and third finalist Olivia Burt at Alston Bar and Beef in the Corn Exchange to create a six course tasting menu (plus snacks) in a one-off pop-up.
It’s one of a series of nationwide events organised by Sauce Supper Club, giving you an independently organised chance to meet the chefs and taste some of the dishes that took them so far. Chorlton-raised Exose certainly forged a fan base with his exuberant contribution. Tickets cost £100 a head. Book a table here.
