Fairfield Social Club is hosting an exciting winter pop-up this December

5 December 2023 by Chloe Tuff

Fairfield Social Club makes its highly anticipated return to Manchester with a festive pop-up event this December, before fully launching in Spring 2024 at Angel Meadows Park.

The multi-purpose site includes two bars, a 250-seater event space and a secret garden with in-situ street food traders and a pop-up Christmas Tree shop.

Visitors can expect a fully stocked Blackjack Beers craft beer bar, as well as traders like Foundation Coffee and Barbecue specialists Isit Kitchen offering plenty of treats.

The pop-up welcomes the return of Manchester institution Oklahoma, retailing colourful unusual gifts, decorations and homeware alongside their new signature Oklahoma totes. They will also host the much-loved Ben Saunders’ Manchester Queer Art Market.

Other special events include a gift-wrapping station tied to local charities like Mustard Tree and Lifeshare. They will be hosting a Reform Radio Day Party, Moodswings Fundraiser and a Fairfield Social Club Christmas Social on Saturday 16th December.

Marketing Manager John Stansfield said: “The original Fairfield Social Club was such an important space for its short but memorable existence, and we’re so excited to be bringing it back to Angel Meadows in time for Christmas with one eye on Spring of next year when things will really kick off. We look forward to making the new FSC a cultural touchstone for the city and a great place to just hang out with pals.”

Find the Fairfield Social Club pop-up over the first three weekends of December, open 4pm to 10pm Fridays and 12pm to 10pm on Saturdays. Children and dogs are welcome at all times and entry is free of charge, making it the perfect family day out this December. Christmas trees can be pre-ordered for collection via the Fairfield Social Club website
