A familiar face has returned to the helm at one of Manchester’s dining hotspots. The River Bar and Restaurant, at The Lowry Hotel, has welcomed back manager Huseyin Bozkurt to take over the reigns of running the top eatery. Turkish-born Huseyin was appointed restaurant manager when the hotel opened its doors in 2001 and helped bring it to the fore as one of the city’s leading venues before his departure in 2005.

Since beginning his illustrious career in the hospitality industry in Manchester, 42-year-old Huseyin has gathered a wealth of experience working among acclaimed restaurants such as Ithaca and Mash and Air. His new role as manager of The River Bar and Restaurant will see him head up a team of 45 staff, ensuring that both the food and service match the exacting standards required of a five-star venue.

Huseyin said: “I am delighted to return to The Lowry Hotel. We will be working hard to ensure that The River Bar and Restaurant retains its reputation as one of Manchester’s most popular dining out options.â€?
