THE Manchester Picnics back, bringing the top of the pop-ups to Piccadilly Gardens for a weekend of troughing out (Friday August 2-Sunday August 4).
Last years family-friendly foodie festival attracted 25,000 folk, establishing it as a fixture on the citys summer scene. This years, the fourth, offers an even mightier selection of street food in a themed garden setting appropriately as it ties in with the eagerly anticipated urban gardening extravaganza Dig The City (August 3-11) .
The traders include Thai specialists Chili Banana, Fish and Co, Gingers Comfort Emporium home-made ice cream, Spanish flavours from Las Paellas, Hoggie Hog Roast Churros Con Chocolate (Spanish doughnuts). Papa Gs Greek flavours, Tios Snack Shack burgers, Castros pulled pork, Nandos, Wasabi Sushi, Chiquito, Printworks, Baron Bruchard, Green Goddess, Fire and Slice, Lulabelles and Martins Foods, Tibetan Kitchen.
