SIMON Rogan’s Chef Week returns to The French from June 7-11. It made its debut last year in collaboration with the Manchester Food and Drink Festival and the standalone formula for 2016 is the same, even if the cast of chefs from across the Rogan stable is slightly altered.
Each night a different chef from his award-winning restaurants hosts a night in The French at The Midland – its resident chef Adam Reid (Thur, June 9), Tom Barnes (Tues, June 7) from Cumbria's L'Enclume, Dan Cox (Fri, June 10) from London's Fera at Claridge's, and Marcus Noack (Sat, June 11), Executive Chef of Simon's Umbel Restaurant Group, plus Rogan himself on Wed, June 8.
With favoured specialist suppliers and a wealth of British ingredients sourced from Simon Rogan's farm in Cumbria, the chefs have created five menus to showcase their diverse talents.
The menus are all priced at £100 per person, with an accompanying wine flight available on request at £60 per person.
Once again, £20 per person will be donated to supporting Hospitality Action, http://hospitalityaction.org.ukthe industry's benevolent charity offering vital assistance to all who work, or have worked, within hospitality in the UK and who find themselves in crisis. After having raised nearly £4,000 in 2015, we hope to surpass this figure in 2016.
Bookings can be made on 0161 932 4198, or via the website.
