Art in Action Festival at Cottonopolis

CHARLATANS star Tim Burgess headlines a day of music, live art, film and food with a DJ set at the Northern Quarter bar on Easter Sunday, to raise cash for Action Against Hunger.

The event will include an Art Battle with six artists interpreting the theme of community in front of a live audience from 3pm, which will then be auctioned off for the charity. The  bar’s food offering is a ToM fave, so we love they are creating a festival pop up street food stall serving a special 'Japanese junk' small plates menu.

Tickets free here https://www.cottonopolis-nq.com/ArtInAction/with a suggested £10 donation on the door.

Easter Sunday at The Pilcrow Pub

Three of France’s finest breweries are occupying nine taps from noon onwards – Brasserie Popihn, Brasserie Du Mont Salève & La Débauche. So it seems appropriate that the kings of French-Canadian casual cuisine, The Blue Caribou Canteen, are dispensing their authentic, Québec-style poutine. Music from Aficionado Recordings, who were a big hit at last year’s Sunday bash, with moonboats, Jason Boardman and friends.
