Foodies Festival returns to Tatton Park this July.

13 May 2014

Fancy a day out in a lovely stately home garden, with fine and intriguing food to try and buy as well as world-class demos and much more? Look no further than Manchester Foodies Festival. It's part of a nation-wide programme of events, and, if you book in advance, tickets are a very reasonably priced. This years event includes demos by Ning's Norman Musa, a children's cookery theatre, a Real Ale and Cider Farm, a BBQ arena and Vintage Afternoon Tea tent. All in all, it's a perfect celebration of food and drink in Britain and beyond at the height of summer. And when you've had your fill, there's the chance to explore Tatton Park's famous Japanese and Kitchen Gardens.

Fri 18- Sun 20 Jul, Tatton Park, from £10, www.foodiesfestival.com
