Spanish gem Grado is set to pop the cork on its second wine club evening. Launched in July by celebrity chef and owner Paul Heathcote, the monthly club aims to satisfy those with a thirst for wine knowledge and encourage diners to discover more about the drop from a seasoned sommelier.

Following the success of last month’s debut event, which saw enthusiastic wine lovers and novices alike enjoy a menu of delicious Spanish dishes alongside expertly matched wines, Grado is to host a second wine club evening on Thursday, August 20. For £30pp, diners can enjoy five courses together with six carefully selected wines and will have the chance to learn how to pour, taste and understand the varieties like a professional.

The menu will include: Fernando de Castilla Classic Fino on arrival; Keith Tulloch Semillon served with shellfish; Oude Berg Chenin Blanc served with black pudding; Champs du Moulin Grenache served with lamb; Cotes du Rhone La Chapelle du Marin Syrah/Shiraz served with beef and Fernando de Castilla Antique Pedro Ximenez served with chocolate/ice cream.
