ENVIROLUTION Festival 2018 is back at Platt Fields on Saturday, June 2 with its best food line-up ever thanks to a link-up with GRUB.
Manchester’s top street food party organisers will be bringing TEN 100% vegan street food traders to feed the crowds at Envirolution – one of the best free events in Manchester, a perfect day out for all the family.
GRUB are dab hands at supplying vegan after launching last May Plant Powered Sundays (Europe's first weekly vegan street food event) which has been a smash hit since then attracting thousands of visitors.
Envirolution visitors will be able to chow down on cauli burgers from Ital Fresh, mezze from The Ottomen, Willy Wonka style layer cakes form Bakeorama and plenty more options. Plus recent stars of BBC’s Million Pound Menu Wholesome Junkies will be supplying their trademark junk food (pictured above).
The festival itself will be home to a great variety of stalls, workshops, talks and activities. Expect eclectic music, a mini pop up farm, arts and crafts fun, wellbeing activities, spoken word performances and at the Green Discussions section help on how to start growing your own veg.
There’ll be main stage music from The Gaskell Garden Project and two of the co-creators of The Wonder Inn will be hosting the Healing Fields for the first time;, offering workshops that celebrate wellbeing and togetherness – from yoga, drumming & meditation – to sound healing and dream catcher making.
GRUB director Jason Bailey told us: “Envirolution is a wonderful festival that celebrates all the good things ordinary folk are doing in Manchester. It’s a guaranteed good day out ,so we were well chuffed to be asked to get involved. The weather also looks top notch so I can't think of many better places for families to spend the day.”
