KICKING off on April 27, GRUB which currently runs a hugely popular street food market three days a week in Manchester city centre, will be bringing its award winning formula to Islington Mill in Salford on the last Saturday of every month.
That means eight food traders bringing mouthwatering dishes from around the globe, including burgers, bao, deep fried pizza, ice cream, Berlin style kebabs, banh mi, doughnuts, BBQ, Korean burritos, fried chicken, cubanos, pies, patisserie and many more.
Vegetarians and vegans won’t be forgotten with a wealth of meat and dairy free options from almost every trader. On top of that GRUB will have their own bar on site pouring beer from some of the best micro breweries in the North including Track, Hawkshead, North Runaway. Handmade soft drinks, wines and ciders, will also be available for the non beer fans out there.
Opening food line-up: Purely pizza, Goody Gujarati, Ginger's Comfort Emporium, Wagyu Lookin’ At ?, Old Town Chimney Cakes Bakery, Vegan Fried Chicken, Bakeorama Cakes.
GRUB director Jason Bailey told us: “We’re incredibly excited to be popping up in Salford, which has been right at the top of the list for new site since we began. The fact we’re working with Islington Mill to make it happen makes it even better!”
