GRUB are back at Sadler’s Yard this Saturday (May 7) with a bigger and better food and drink event inspired by America’s county fairs.
The ‘Grub May Carnival’ is the second in a series of themed markets to be held in the NOMA hub opposite Victoria Station. “Think Coney Island style, sodas and fairground grub alongside of craft ale and a cracking lineup of artists, activites, fresh produce and crafty folk,” the pop-up specialists’ social media enthuses.
Visitors to this free event that runs from 12pm-8pm can expect to taste Americana influenced street food (think hot dogs and meatball subs), drink soda cocktails and hang out with stilt walkers.
There will be art and craft traders, take-home food and loads of free stuff including face painting for children, beer tasting with Magic Rock Brewing and spoon making and screenprinting workshops courtesy of The Pilcrow Pub, currently going up in Sadler’s Yard. The bar will feature beers from Marble, Runaway and Blackjack.
