Hulme has a new African and Caribbean restaurant called Yaba (110 Hulme High Street, Hulme). Offering an all you can eat buffet for around £7, Yaba joins M&Ms (127 Stamford Street) and Buzzrocks (166 Stretford Road) in Hulme as well as Chorltonâs RhythmânâRice (170 Manchester Road) and Orlandoâs (380 Barlow Moor Road) offering this style of spiced grub in south Manchester.

Dessert is to be confirmed, and there is a vegetarian option too. Tickets are £25 for three courses. Email [email protected] for more info.
