NORTHERN Restaurant & Bar is boasting record pre-show registrations for the prestigious hospitality event, which takes place at Manchester Central on Tues, Mar 17 and Wed Mar 18.
Keynote session, first introduced last year, is the NRB debate on the opening day. Will Beckett (above), founder of steakhouse chain Hawksmoor, which has just added a Manchester restaurant to their five London ones, has been announced as the final panelist.
He joins hotelier Craig Bancroft from Michelin-starred Northcote and writer/restaurateur Nick Lander, who will be offering perspectives on how Lander’s award-winning The Art of the Restaurateur, applies to the North. Before this double act Beckett will be interviewed by the event’s CEO, Thom Hetherington.
The NRB Debate takes place from 12pm-2pm. Limited tickets for the Debate are still available priced at £60 (inc. lunch, wine and VAT) and are available from this link.
The NRB Debate forms part of Northern Hospitality Week, which is supported by Visit Manchester and encompasses five days of world class industry debates and special one-off business events. In addition to the NRB Debate and the NRB exhibition there is the NRB Top 50 as well as industry charity dinners such as Action Against Hunger’s Too Many Critics Manchester, a host of industry association meetings and visitor discounts and special offers in bars and restaurants.
