Hello Oriental, Manchester’s three-storey ‘northern powerhouse of Asian street food’ wants to celebrate its first successful six months in Manchester by giving customers 50% off the whole menu for an entire day.
Head over to the restaurant, bar, cafe, events space at Circle Square on Wednesday September 28th to enjoy everything at half price for one day only.
The extensive menu has over 100 items on it. Diners can grab something from the top floor bakery like char sui buns stuffed with pineapple, spam and egg, or red bean, custard vanilla cream doughnuts. There’s even ‘Chinese pizza’.
Head downstairs to sample an extensive Vietnamese menu or enjoy traditional Chinese roast meats served on rice or a variety of dim sum. There are also stunning platters of sushi on offer - all with 50% off from 8am until close at 10pm.
Located just off Oxford Road, around the corner from Hatch, Hello Oriental offers East Asian street food across three storeys. Comprising a restaurant, bar, cafe, events space and fully stocked supermarket, it recently received a rave review in the Times, with Marina O’Loughlin calling it a “northern powerhouse” and “grungy, futuristic and fun”.
The venue has been open since February this year and received rave reviews- even without the 50% discount diners can enjoy on Hello Oriental day!
“We’ve been open for more than six months now and we’ve been overwhelmed by the support and positivity from the people of Manchester,” says co-founder Ricky Yip. “Hello Oriental Day is about celebrating that and saying a big thank you to our customers”.
The day is available for walk-ins only (not bookings) and the team at Hello Oriental are prepared for queues of customers excited to take advantage of the generous discount.
