HOSPITALITY GROUP TO LAUNCH TWO NEW CHESHIRE VENUES

13 May 2021 by Deanna Thomas

Aspirational Brands, one of the UK's fastest-growing hospitality groups, has announced it will be launching two new sites over the coming weeks: Cheshire House Bar and Grill in Knutsford and Recardo's in Hale.

The Knutsford site will open first on 24th May, 2021, taking over the former 4000sq ft Brasserie Blanc restaurant. Following a stunning venue refit and menu overhaul, Cheshire House Bar and Grill hopes to become a new dining hotspot for the Cheshire Set.

Cheshire House Bar and Grill will offer a varied brunch menu from 9.30 am of croissants and homemade pancakes or a hearty full English breakfast. The lunchtime menu will cover a selection of classic sandwiches, tasty salads and homemade soups.

With table service until 11.30 pm, upmarket bar bites will be available in the evening along with premium steaks from the grill and a selection of elevated gastro options such as the ‘Cheshire House pie of the week’. On Sundays there will be a traditional Sunday roast on offer. Vegan and vegetarian dishes include ‘fish and chips’ featuring banana blossom marinated in seaweed and lemon juice fried in homemade beer batter, and served with chunky chips, minted peas and tartare sauce.

Cheshire House Bar and Grill will boast a large selection of fine wines, premium spirits, and speciality beers along with a range of expertly crafted botanical cocktails using the brand's own artisan infused gins.

The brand’s second new venue will be Recardo’s, in Hale which has taken over the former Suburbia club on Ashley Road. Currently in construction, it is aiming for a spectacular launch party in August with a surprise performance from a superstar icon of the '70s.

Styling itself as ‘the North West's first floral café’, the venue will be adorned with floor to ceiling foliage, providing a backdrop for the obligatory ‘instagrammable moment’.

Recardo's will serve delicious artisan patisseries, luxury coffees and speciality teas, along with a selection of tasty plant-based nibbles during the day.  As the sun goes down, the venue will become Cheshire's most exclusive afterparty venue with room for 350 people and a licence to serve until 2.30 am.

Late-night revellers can be nostalgically transferred back to the days of Studio 54, with a line-up of live performers playing 70's, 80's and disco classics. Recardo's also promises a curated programme of jazz artists and vocalists, salsa nights and wine tasting experiences.

Both venues will be headed up by hospitality entrepreneur Recardo Patrick, who shot to fame as a child star as the lead singer of the 70's band Sweet Sensation. Since those days Patrick has created many world-famous bars, clubs and nights, including the infamous Boogie in Wonderland at Heart Ibiza.

Adam Howitt, CEO of Aspirational Brands, which has 35 sites to date and plans to open 100 within the next five years, said: "We are very excited to be opening both the Cheshire House Bar and Grill in Knutsford and Recardo's in Hale, both of which will bring a host of jobs and footfall to the areas.

“Each venue will have its own unique identity, which is the foundation of our core beliefs. We are not a large commercial outfit pumping out chain restaurants; we are experts at nurturing independent brands built on community spirit. Our years of hospitality experience combined with a wealth of contacts will enable us to offer genuinely exclusive and immersive experiences at both venues."
