IT'S MEAT-FREE GRUB AT ALPHABET ONE-OFF EXTRAVEGANZA!

3 January 2017

GRUB’S Food Fairs at Alphabet Brewing Co, close to Piccadilly Station, were a huge weekly hit in late 2016 and now the organisers have revealed plans to embrace the New Year challenge of going vegan in a special one-off return event on Saturday, January 28.

For their Veganuary themed Fair a fantastic selection of traders have put together special vegan menus including panzerotti from Fritto, xian bing from Oh Mei Dumpling, tacos from Yakumama, mezze from The Ottomen and a range of Punjabi treats from legendary Leeds trader Manjit’s Kitchen while Blawd Bakehouse and In Truffle We Trust are supplying sweets.

On top of this much-loved The Pasta Factory offering hand made vegan pasta and cheese to take home while Los Antijitos will be bringing a range of Mexican salsas and hot sauces. Alongside the grub Alphabet Brewery will be providing 10 lines of vegan beers to be enjoyed on top of cider, wine and cocktails as normal.

Jason Bailey, director of GRUB told us: “We have so many vegan fans we really wanted to help them celebrate Veganuary as well as show you can have amazing, tasty grub without any animals being involved. It looks like it’s going to be very popular so we’d recommend getting down early.”
