GRUB like to mix up their street food offerings at their Mayfield Gatehouse venue. After two successful themed events, an East Asian Food Fair and Burger Food Fair, they are now introducing their new Latin American Food Fair.
So across this weekend (Friday Aug 30-Sunday Sep 1) expect Mexican tacos, cubanos, Venezuelan arepas, Argentinian BBQ, tropical ice creams and much more. with all the grub being 100 per cent vegan on the Sunday.
This mini festival brings together some of the most talented street food chefs of the north including Press De Cuba, Twisted Meal, Guerrilla Guerrilla (main image), Greedy Gringo, Little Urban BBQ, Mia’s Arepas, Chou Choux Patisserie and Nitro Ice Cream plus more yet to be announced.
GRUB director Jules Bailey told us: “My mum is Colombian and so Latin America is very close to our heart. We can’t wait to show off some amazing dishes from the area.”
