Lavish Tattu aims to make its mark on Manchester's luxury-led dining scene

12 February 2015

MANCHESTER’S restaurant boom has taken another exotic turn with the social media teasing arrival of Tattu, a extravagant £2.5m project in – where else? – Spinningfields.

They describe themselves as “a unique joint of Japanese inspired stylings, tattoo art and lust worthy libations. Try a taste of the Orient with the food offerings and tuck into some custom made cocktails.’’

Sounds like the giddy love child of Sakana and Australasia, beefed up with a spot of body art inpiration. Taste of Manchester gathers the split-level venue will feature three separate areas spread over two floors with the main restaurant on the mezzanine level, interior design courtesy of Edwin (Neighbourhood) Pickett.

April is when it will open. Follow @tattumcr to keep in touch and sign up for soft opening 50 per cent off food offers via www.tattu.co.uk.
