Levy Beer Fête offers a feast of beer, food and fun over Bank Holiday Weekend

10 August 2015

THE Levy Beer Fête (August 28-August 30) returns to The Klondyke Club, Levenshulme for the third year running – with a tweaked name and greater emphasis on food and mini-bars focussing on wine, spirits and  cider alongside live music and fun activities.

Every evening, throughout the August Bank Holiday Weekend from 6pm on Friday, August 28, there will be live bands and DJs, while in the daytime there’ll be plenty of activities such as carnival games, beer tastings and even a special pub quiz on Sunday from Manchester quiz masters Quizimodo.

The food line-up being put together by GRUB will include the debut of Parmstar, bringing the humble parmo (breaded chicken) to Manchester, as well as one of Sheffield’s finest burger slingers, the Juicy Kitchen, in addition to the best pizza in the North West from Honest Crust.

There will be more food announcements to come including a number of veggie and vegan friendly traders. Tickets are available through Eventbrite at the following link.

Jon Hartley, director of organisers Shebeen Events said “We’re super happy to be bringing Levy Beer Fest back to Levenshulme which has been our home for a long time and we’re looking forward to giving it a real family friendly festival atmosphere without compromising on the quality of the food or drink”
