Liverpool’s much-loved Xmas themed bar heads to Manchester for the first time ever

3 November 2021 by Deanna Thomas

The popular Xmas pop-up ‘Miracle on Seel Street’ has been a seasonal feature in Liverpool city centre since 2017, but now it will be bringing its Christmas joy to Manchester too with drinks, nibbles and festive films.

Christmas bar, ‘Miracle on Cross Street’, will open for the first time on Wednesday 17th November, making it the perfect place to pop into after an afternoon visit to Manchester’s Christmas Markets.

The grotto for grown-ups will be adorned in festive fairy lights, tinsel, and a Christmas tree that’s bursting with baubles, stockings, snowflakes and candy canes. Miracle on Cross Street will also be hosting special Christmas movie nights where guests can watch their favourite festive films like Elf, Home Alone, Love Actually and more.

Guests can tuck into festive nibbles whilst working their way through the Christmas cocktail menu such as the bar’s Espresso-Ho-Ho-Ho Martini. The bar also has a variety of wines, beers, spirits and its very own mulled wine and Irish Cream.

Miracle on Cross Street’s Director, John Ennis, from Graffiti Spirits Group, said: “We’re so excited to introduce Miracle to Manchester for the first time this year. It’s the perfect place for couples, groups of friends or private functions in the most festive environment.

“Guests can sit back and soak up the festive fun with a Christmas cocktail and nibbles in hand. We’ll also be hosting movie nights on Wednesdays and Sundays where the best Christmas films will be shown. It’s the most wonderful time of the year and we can’t wait to welcome our guests who may be visiting the Christmas markets, doing some Christmas shopping or just want to get involved in the festivities.”

Miracle on Cross Street will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm until late and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 4pm-late, with the last seating at 11pm. The Christmas-themed bar (which is strictly 18+) will also be available to book for private hire. Minimum spend applies, and maximum capacity is 50 people.

Walk-ins are welcome but booking ahead is strongly encouraged to avoid disappointment. Tickets are £15 per person, which secures a seat and includes a drinks voucher to redeem a complimentary Irish cream or mulled wine, Christmas hat, candy cane, Miracle on Cross Street pin and mince pie (vegan mince pies available upon request).

Miracle on Cross Street will be open from 17th November until 30th December (closed on Christmas Day). The venue can be accessed via the same entrance as Salt Dog Slim’s. Tickets can be purchased via this link.
